HDTV stands for “High Definition TV” – a worldwide TV standard offering full color, pin sharp outlines, a depth quality that wasn’t known about till now and crystal clear surround sound in 5:1 Dolby digital format.

The greatest advantage of HDTV lies in the high resolution. Television pictures will be more finely shown. Details that are invisible with the PAL standard will become visible with HDTV. No question: this technology will be dominating the market within the next few years and be giving us even more pleasure with our televisions.
